Production Process of Aluminum Alloy Bumper Strips

 

1. Material Selection Stage

   - Material Inspection: We rigorously select high-quality aluminum alloy materials, typically based on material grades. The materials undergo chemical composition and physical performance tests to ensure compliance with national and industry standards.

   - Material Preparation: Once the materials are selected, they are cut into suitable sheet sizes for use.

 

2. Cutting Process

   - Equipment Selection: Based on the required dimensions of the bumper strips, we use CNC cutting machines or laser cutting machines to ensure high precision and minimal deformation.

   - Cutting Parameter Settings: Parameters such as cutting speed and power are set according to the thickness and specifications of the aluminum alloy sheets.

 

3. Bevel Cutting

   - Angle Adjustment: The cutting machine's tool angle is adjusted according to the design drawings and customer requirements for bevel cutting.

   - Edge Treatment: To avoid burrs from cutting, appropriate tools are used for grinding to make the cut edges smoother, reducing assembly difficulty later.

 

4. Bending Process

   - Bending Machine Setup: The aluminum strips are placed on the bending machine, with the correct bending angle and position parameters set.

   - Bending Operation: Pressure is applied slowly during the bending process, monitoring closely to ensure that curves and angles meet design requirements and to prevent bending defects.

 

5. Polishing Treatment

   - Polishing Equipment Selection: Mechanical polishing machines or manual polishing tools are used, along with different grits of sandpaper or polishing paste for surface treatment.

   - Polishing Process: Careful wiping and polishing ensure that the surface of the bumper strips is smooth and flawless, removing scratches and burrs, and enhancing both visual appeal and tactile quality.

 

6. Anodizing Process

   - Anodizing Tank Preparation: Anodizing solutions are prepared, and the aluminum strips are immersed in the anodizing tank, typically using the anodic oxidation method.

   - Anodizing Time and Current: Anodizing time and current are set to ensure a uniform anodic film forms on the surface of the aluminum, enhancing its corrosion resistance and aesthetic quality.

 

7. Quality Inspection

   - Dimension Measurement: Precision measuring tools are used to check the length, width, and thickness of the bumper strips to ensure they match the design specifications.

   - Surface Inspection: Manual inspections are conducted to assess surface quality, including smoothness, color uniformity, and anodic layer thickness.

   - Function Testing: The bumper strips undergo hardness testing and durability assessments to ensure performance in practical use.

 

8. Packaging and Shipping

   - Cleaning Process: Prior to packaging, the aluminum strips are cleaned to remove dust and oil from the surface.

   - Packaging Material Selection: Suitable packaging materials, usually bubble wrap and cartons, are chosen to protect the products during transportation.

   - Shipping Records: Production information and inspection results for each batch are recorded for subsequent tracking and management.
